Description

This training provides a basic understanding about responding effectively to a crisis situation. It presents three common causes of crises and the likely stages of a crisis situation. The goals of crisis management are highlighted, specifically ensuring safety and reducing the future likelihood of a crisis. The learner is exposed to different types of interventions that a supervisor may recommend during each stage of a crisis. Additionally, steps to take during a behavioral emergency are recommended.
